Zulte

| Zulte is a typical Flemish brown ale. It is a high fermentation beer with a deep brown color and red appearance. The collar provides a typical cream color. The odor we recognize a light touch of wood. However, the taste is a special case. Many put this under the heading of Rodenbach similar. After a neutral starter however, comes a rather sweet flavor to the fore. The finish is mildly acidic and flows like water off (unlike Rodenbach). |

| Originally brewed in the brewery Anglo Belge, which was, however, taken over in 1979 by Alken-Maes.
Over time, the location Zulte was lifted and the production was moved to Waarloos (Kontich).
