Zulte

Zulte is a typical Flemish brown ale.
It is a high fermentation beer with a deep brown color and red appearance. The collar provides a typical cream color. The odor we recognize a light touch of wood. However, the taste is a special case. Many put this under the heading of Rodenbach similar. After a neutral starter however, comes a rather sweet flavor to the fore. The finish is mildly acidic and flows like water off (unlike Rodenbach).

Originally brewed in the brewery Anglo Belge, which was, however, taken over in 1979 by Alken-Maes.
Over time, the location Zulte was lifted and the production was moved to Waarloos (Kontich).
