Timmermans Kriek is a collective name for a number of Belgian Kriek
beers. The beers are brewed by Brouwerij Timmermans (since 1993 owned
brewery John Martin) at Itterbeek. |

Timmermans Brewery brews for more than 300 years lambic. Real Lambic is
only brewed in a circle of 15 km around Brussels. The brewery is one of
the ten members of the High Council for traditional lambic beers (Hora).
Various forms of cherry beer are recognized by the Flemish Centre for
Agricultural and Fishery Marketing
(FLAME) as a regional product. All Brewery Timmermans Kriek beers fall
under protected by the European Union label or Traditional Speciality
Guaranteed (TSG). |

Timmermans Oude Kriek is a cherry lambic with an alcohol content of
5.5%. Oude Kriek is achieved by a mixture of 3/4 old lambic with fourth
young Lambic. In addition, cherries are combined from Schaerbeek.
Timmermans Oude Kriek can be stored for 12 years. The beer was launched
in 2010 and is only available in a limited number of bottles of 75cl.
Timmermans Kriek Retro is a cherry with an alcohol content of 5%.
Timmermans Kriek Lambicus (originally Timmermans Kriek Lambic) is a cherry with an alcohol content of 4%.
Warm Timmermans Kriek is a cherry beer with an alcohol content of 4%.
To the blend of lambic with cherries cinnamon is added. The beer is warm
drinking and is intended for the Christmas period as a "glühkriek"
