Vondel

| Vondel was a dark brown beer of 8.5% Vol alcohol brewed. Brewery by Riva from Dentergem, alias Liefmans Breweries. |

| The beer has to mature, month and a half here, the sugars are converted into alcohol. Because of the high sugar content it has a pitch-like, slightly licorice flavor tending. The aftertaste tends to Madeira. |

| Like most brown ales it, upright and at cellar temperature, can be long preserved. |
 |
| The original brewery was Brewery Vondel from Meulebeke. |
 |
| Since the bankruptcy of the brewery in late 2007, the beer is no longer published. |
