| St-Idesbald Double Bottle: 33cl Barrels: 15l. Alcohol volume: 8% ABV Colour and sight: Deep dark brown colour and a dense light brown head. Scent: Nice sweet smell, with predominant aromas of caramel and malt. Flavour: Initially a certain roundness, evolving into a strong, powerful taste with mainly hints of coffee (roasted malt). The aftertaste is quite bitter. |

| The beer is brewed in Brouwerij Huyghe in Melle. The abbey beers are brewed at the brewery until 1994 Damy Olsene. In February 1994 this brewery is owned by Huyghe brewery, which also brews three beers. Last comes in 2004 Sint-Idesbald Rousse there. The full name of the beer reads St. Idesbald Réserve Ten Duinen, but it is also released with a slightly modified label with the name of the Dunes Reserve St. Idesbald. The name refers to the Abbey of Our Lady of the Dunes at Koksijde and St. Idesbald, third abbot of Duinenabdij around 1155. This beer is labeled Recognized Belgian Abbey beer. |
