Vlasbier

Vlasbier is a Belgian beer. It is brewed by the Brewery Van Eecke to Watou, part of Poperinge.

The beer is sold to the Lys. This is a region where traditional flax was grown. The name of the beer refers to this tradition and not the composition of the beer. The label is an old-fashioned drawing of flax growers.

The labels shall correctly stated that the beer is brewed at Van Eecke and does not indicate at the Brewery Het Sas, as the website of The Sas (both breweries hear well together and are actually two locations of a single company).

Vlasbier is a blond high fermentation beer with secondary fermentation in the bottle. It has an alcohol content of 6.5% and a density of 14 ° Plato.
